An Outdoor Country Chic Wedding | Andrew and Beth
As they climbed to the top of a water tower to watch the sun set over the big world below, Beth was amazed by the man she was with. A year ago, she wouldn't have thought this would happen…ever. She thought Andrew was a jerk, and he thought she was stuck up. But over the last year apart, the Lord had changed them both drastically. When they returned for their second summer of work at Bogg Springs Baptist Camp, Beth hardly even recognized the man she had worked with last summer. Andrew was selfless and caring toward the campers, humble and quick to learn. Now here they were, watching the sunset and talking about the possibility of a future together.
They both began to pray for their growing relationship as they continued serving the campers at Bogg Springs that summer. When they parted ways (he lived in Texas and she was in Arkansas), Andrew gave Beth a series of letters to read every day of the week. On the final day, he told her all of the reasons he loved her… and she was overwhelmed by how much God had blessed her and led her her best friend.
Last December, Andrew took Beth on a carriage ride before he knelt down and asked her to be his wife. He read to her from his personal journal the things he'd prayed for in a future wife, then they spent the evening with their closest friends and family.
It wasn't even a question where Beth wanted to be married: her family's property in Pine Bluff. It was a gorgeous day, filled with laughter, friends, and lots of fun details. More than anything, I was constantly impressed by Beth and Andrew's desire to keep their wedding centered on Christ, knowing that they wouldn't have been there without Him.
