Travels & Adventures | Mexico 2006-2007

I love to travel.

I'm pretty sure it's my parent's fault. When I was younger, we drove to nearly every landmark and monument in America…and although I don't remember the majority of our travels, the love for adventure and seeing new places was instilled somewhere deep within me.

I never stood a chance.

(Thanks, mom.)

In my short time on Earth, I've been very fortunate to have the opportunity to see some incredible places. A great majority of our travels happened before I had much of a desire to be a photographer, but I've pretty much always had a little point and shoot camera that I would snap photos with and dump (unedited) in albums on facebook. I've been thinking a lot about these images lately… wanting to pull them out again and cull/edit them from a photographer's point of view.

So here's to the first of a new series.

I drove to Mexico with a church group for two consecutive spring break trips when I was 14 and 15. Again, I had absolutely no desire to be a photographer at the time, these are just a *few* images I snapped as a 14 year old with a tiny point and shoot.

Still.

There aren't very many… but these are my favorites.

I've come a long way.
