Travels & Adventures | Israel

When my parents first mentioned that we might take a family vacation to Israel, I didn't believe them. I mean, when I was a child, we DID travel a lot... but always in our little compact car across the country. Never overseas. Although our trip to Israel wasn't the first time that I've been overseas, it was the first time I've been overseas primarily as a tourist. Going for educational purposes without trying to engage with anyone or make friends was a different experience for me, but I'm so, SO blessed that I had the opportunity to go to this incredibly fascinating place and learn so much so early in my life. It's one thing to read the Bible and imagine all the places that our so pivotal to our faith... but it's another thing entirely to actually BE THERE. To see with your own eyes where Jesus grew up, preformed miracles, and spent his life. To see with your own eyes where He sweat blood in the garden before he was crucified.

Although we traveled around a large part of Israel, the majority of the following image were taken in Jerusalem. I hope you enjoy them.
