A Starkville Mississippi Engagement with Tandem Bikes & Coffee Bars | Josie and Alon
Josie smiled as she watched Alon bait her worms. It was a warm spring day… perfect for learning how to fish. However, Josie was so busy learning a new skill with friends that she didn’t notice that Alon was slowly falling for her that day. In fact, Alon’s feelings had been growing since he met Josie nearly a year prior. He remembers every detail about the day he first saw her, but she was too distracted by her upcoming move to Colorado to hardly remember him at all. A few months after that dear Spring fishing trip, Josie moved back to Mississippi and noticed a sweet twinkle in Alon’s eyes when he talked to her. They got to know each other better over the coming months, and by the end of winter the feeling was mutual. Several months went by (much to Josie’s growing frustration! :), but by the time Alon asked Josie on their first date, he knew his intentions were to marry her.
In December, Josie and Alon sat in their favorite coffee shop as Josie unwrapped a present that had been taunting her under the tree: nine boxes, one inside another, each with a poem and finally the question she longed to hear.
On Wednesday, Lucas and I met Josie and Alon at The 929 Coffee Bar... the same place that Alon asked Josie to join their lives together. Lucas and I felt so blessed spend the afternoon with the two of them, getting to know each other and exploring Starkville together. It was incredibly obvious that the two of them are perfect for each other, and I hope that these images clearly reflect their love for life, laughter, and adventure.
