A Classic Black Tie Destination Wedding in Texarkana | John & Kelsey
As Kelsey sat by the window, patiently waiting for her curls to be crafted to perfection, she looked at her mother across the table and smiled. There were still a few last minute details to finish up, and she was filled with gratitude at the woman who worked tirelessly to ensure her day was absolutely perfect. Since John and Kelsey lived 1,500 miles away, they relied heavily on their friends and family back in Texas, and no one had worked harder or more selflessly than Kelsey's mom. And now that she was there and everything was falling into place, she couldn't have been more thankful. Honestly, it's absolutely amazing how perfectly and beautifully John and Kelsey's classic black tie destination wedding came together. Last Saturday, many of their closest friends and family from both New York and Texas gathered together to celebrate the joining of two hearts that were undoubtedly made for each other. Kelsey was one of the most stunning and gracious brides I've ever had the pleasure of working with, and it was so incredibly obvious that John adored her. They were married at Central Christian Church, with dinner and dancing following at the Texarkana Country Club. Overall, it was an elegant and classic affair, full of emotion and best expressed timelessly in black and white. Lucas and I could not have felt more blessed to document it.
John and Kelsey, thank you. From the bottom of my heart. It means the world that you trusted us to document such an important day of your life, and we hope you love these photographs as much as we do.
