A Peach and Mint Green Arkansas Wedding | Matt & Heather
The ceremony was due to start in 15 minutes, and Heather was tucked away in a small room somewhere in the depths of New Life Church in Conway, Arkansas. She sat on a gray leather couch as her four bridesmaids bustled around her, fixing last minute powder and curls. I am certain that God has placed us together and is pleased to finally join us as one. It's been 5 years in the making and I am thankful for every joyful moment, and for every hardship, because I learned how to serve you more perfectly.
Tears began to flow as Heather read the words she would be speaking to her soon to be husband in just a few minutes. This was a moment five years in the making, and every little bit of her was excited, overwhelmed, and filled with joy to be celebrating this day with Matthew, surrounded by those who loved them most. It had already been a beautiful day, full of laughter, hugs, and silliness... and she knew the moments to come would be even more meaningful.
Matt and Heather's ceremony was so authentic and genuine it makes my heart hurt. Not only was it incredibly clear that they were loved immensely by everyone there, but that they loved each other unconditionally and without reserve. Their handwritten vows were some of the sweetest words I've heard spoken, and the emotions they felt were genuine and touched every heart in the room. It was truly an honor to witness.
Their ceremony was followed by a beautiful reception with lots of food, dancing, and live music. I loved all of the little details Heather and Matt included to make the celebration fit them and their personalities, from personalized centerpieces to the green converse on the groom's cake. However, my favorite part of the reception was when Matt played a few songs that he had written about and for Heather over the years, followed by a few upbeat tunes that got everyone dancing.
Matt and Heather... again. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your day. It meant a lot to me to be able to serve you in this way, and Lucas and I wish you both nothing but the best together.
