A Fayetteville arkansas engagement session | Tom & Austin
It had been a wonderful evening. It was the night of her senior banquet, and it had been an evening of fancy dresses, good friends, and lots of celebration. But it was about to get even better. Because now that the banquet was over, Austin found herself alone in the darkness, blindfolded, waiting, and feeling thousand emotions all at once. Knowing who was behind this, and waiting for him to appear. It was a night silent, dark, and full of anticipation... until music began softly playing in the background and she felt someone approaching.
Your hand fits in mine like it's made just for me
But bear this in mind, it was meant to be
And I'm joining up the dots with the freckles on your cheeks
And it all makes sense to me...
As he approached, Tom took one more long look at his fiance-to-be. She looked absolutely beautiful in her yellow floor length dress, and he was more than excited to ask her the most important question he had ever asked. So he removed her blindfold, got down on one knee, and asked Austin to be his wife. They lingered there for a long time, under a pavilion covered in twinkling lights, just laughing, talking, and holding each other. And it couldn’t have been more perfect.
Austin and Tom, it was SO wonderful to spend a few hours with you this week! Thank you for showing Lucas and I around the University of Arkansas campus and for taking us to see Mount Sequoyah overlooking Fayetteville. Even though I grew up in northwest Arkansas, I saw a lot of new places and had SUCH a great time! We loved getting to know the two of you better and absolutely can’t wait to see you again!
