A Whitney Mountain Lodge Wedding | Jennifer & David

It was just beginning to turn into evening as Jennifer prepared to walk down the aisle. The sun was slowly receding behind the trees, and occasional clouds floated over the expansive lake that stretched out before them. It was a place that held a lot of memories for these two, including the memories of spending their first real evening together and falling in love. And so it was only fitting that Jennifer would walk down the aisle towards the man who would soon become her husband and say “I do” in front of this very lake. It was a sentimental, meaningful ceremony full of personal touches and heartfelt gestures, which was a theme that reoccured throughout the entire day.

If I had to pick one thing that most stood out to me during Jennifer and David’s wedding, it would have been the fact that everything they did was with great intention and usually had a story behind it that made it even more special. From the fact that Jennifer’s brother married them to the cupcake Jennifer fed David after they cut the cake that was the exact cupcake that thwarted their first meeting, every single detail was so personal and meaningful. I just love it when two people are able to take tradition and make it their own, and these two did so in a beautiful way.

Jennifer and David, I’m so grateful for the opportunity to have served you on your wedding day. I wish you both nothing but the best in your future together, and I hope you enjoy just a few of my favorites from your special day!!
