A Cooper Memorial Chapel Wedding | Clayton & Elora
She has always wanted to get married there. For as long as she can remember. Even as a little girl, she thought the quaint yet impressive glass chapel was the most beautiful place in the world to be married. Plus, her parents were married there, and all she wanted was to say “I do” in the same place when it was finally her turn to marry the man of her dreams. And so, in many ways, this past weekend was a dream come true. Elora had waited for this day for what felt like a lifetime, and it was finally here. Barefoot, she walked through the forest and right through the arched wooden doors to promise her forever under beams and glass and canopies of trees. It was a beautiful ceremony, a beautiful day, and a beautiful start to the rest of their lives.
One of my favorite things about Elora and Clayton’s wedding was that, even though they chose not to share a first look before the ceremony, they still prioritized plenty of time for portraits. Not only did we have time together immediately following the ceremony, but we also got a chance to sneak away as the reception was winding down for a few more moments together. The images that we took during that time were my absolute favorite all day, and they wouldn’t have been possible without a couple who trusted me and prioritized creating photographs of the two of them that they will cherish for the rest of their lives. I hope you enjoy just a few of my favorites!!
