It was a cloudy, gray morning as she got ready for her wedding day. Outside, there were occasional sprinkles, but it didn’t dampen anyone’s spirit as they prepared for the day ahead. And when Katherine stepped outside to see her groom for the first time, the clouds began to rapidly disappear until there was only sunshine. By the time Katherine and Nic were ready for portraits, the sun was shining brightly and the weather was beautiful for the rest of the day.
Katherine and Nic were married at First Baptist Church in Rogers Arkansas, and the main thing that struck me throughout the day was how calm everyone was and how smoothly everything went. From the perfect weather that morning until the very last hug that night, their wedding day could not have been more perfect. Also, I loved how these two incorporated meaningful details into their wedding day, like Katherine wearing her great aunt’s wedding dress and her sister playing the violin as she walked down the aisle.
Katherine and Nic, thank you for trusting me to photograph your wedding and create portraits for the two of you that you will look at and cherish for a lifetime. I hope you enjoy just a few of my favorites!
