As the sun sunk below the horizon, they were already well on their way to the Caribbean. It was the first night of the cruise, and Lauren was so looking forward the much needed break from work to simply relax and be with the man she loved more than anything. Little did she know, Gabe would make this night more memorable than she could have imagined. Because instead of a simple night of settling in, Gabe chose that very evening to ask Lauren to be his wife.
And of course, she said yes.

Since Lauren and Gabe live in Mississippi, the first time I met them was just a few days before their wedding! On Thursday, I drove up to Eureka Springs to meet them at Sugar Ridge Lodge, where their entire family was staying for the weekend. And ya’ll. Sugar Ridge Lodge has one of the most beautiful views of Beaver Lake I’ve ever seen. It was a pleasure to spend the afternoon with them, photographing their love just a few days before they said “I do”.
