Do digital images really matter?

Did you know that during wardrobe appointments, I will often order custom dresses specially for my clients? This mama wanted something in this shade of blue that was simple and classic, so we found her this dress that perfectly matched her vision and looked amazing for her session!

I get it – you’re not a designer and you have no desire to learn how to become one. Figuring out how to properly size, design, space, and install a gallery wall sounds like a massive waste of time to you, and you’d much rather spend your precious days off with your family, not on Pinterest.

When I think back to the first few weeks with our babe I remember…………
…..almost nothing.

Honestly.

It’s hard to imagine a world without photographs.

Now days, all we have to do is pull out our phone, click a button, and snap a quick photo of anything we’d like. It’s not uncommon for us to take dozens of photographs every single day of the important moments, the mundane, and everything in-between.

One of my greatest delights is photographing the evolution of two people in love over the years. It means the world when a couple chooses me to photograph their wedding and continue to trust me to document their lives as their family grows.

This session is really special to me. 

It’s special because sweet Kali was a 2014 #snbride, and I’ve adored her since the first day we met. I loved being a part of her and Ricky’s lives as they prepared for marriage, and photographing their wedding was an honor that I’ll never forget.
